Can a pinched nerve from the spine go down the waist and leg?

For about 2 months now I have been having pain on the right side by the waist area and back. It started off on the right side by the waist and the back and then now it is on my right leg. I did 2 abdominal cat scans. One showed liver enlgarged and the other (done with contrast) showed normal. At first one of the liver enzymes were slightly elevated but then a couple of weeks later they were not. However the sonogram showed liver enlarged. A few doctors said that the pain can be from a pinched nerve from the back but the MRI showed normal. Can it still be a pinched nerve from th spine even the the MRI was normal? I went to a neurologist and they said I should do an EMG to find out if it is a nerve pain or not. They also said that it can be from the epidural I took when I was in labor for my 4 months old son. The GI said that the enlarged liver can be from the pregnancy. Is this true? I am confused about all this. IF anyone has any suggestions let me know. Thanks.

Ok. I have Coeliac or Celiac Disease. I was wondering if anyone out there can help me. I know in some cases SLE can be ociated with this. I tick a good few of the boxes with SLE symptoms IE, Rashes that wont go away.On my arms but especially purplish spots on my legs that dont go away when pressed.Also Joint pain in bones and and swelling,depression,severe weight loss,muscle loss..Severe unknown cause of Anaemia requiring regular blood transfusions.I haven't had a period since i was 32 as I had an Hysterectomy.I have had checks done to see if I am bleeding internally but these were negetive.Seizures and blackouts.poor memory..Just to name a few. My doctor does suspect I have SLE but I haven't had more intensive tests done as yet. Can anyone tell me a bit more about the possible link between the 2 diseases and also as I am seeing my doctor this Friday.Should I bring the matter up again?. I hate being ill. I just want to know what is happening to me. I am single divorced (as a result of DV) well educated and former model with an hour-gl figure. I am also a successful entreprenuer and have raised my four children single handedly for the last 10 years, my kids mom. I frequently have men fall for me and I live in a community where there are more blue collared workers than white collar well educated men. I am now at the point in my life and my children's lives (all teenagers) when I made a choice to start dating and meet men. I've fought them off all these years because I've put my kids first.. had men buy me everything, take me places, etc... but not right for me. I met an incredible man since I started dating that I'm finally attracted to.. in a grocery store of all places. He has unbelievable character, is gentle and kind,.. is my age... a fantastic cook and skilled at what he does. We have great chemistry and quite a bit that we like to do in common. THE PROBLEM IS I feel like he's not my intellectual equal. He is the president of a local union of all things of a group of school district custodians and maintenance crews.. he is essentially a head janitor for the large school district where I live. He has a different type of itelligence than I do I guess you could say.. in a menial way. He dropped out of college and married young and went through a divorce (his choice) after 20 years in an unhappy marriage. He is incredibly loving, respectful, and emotionally available for a man and sometimes the way he treats me I feel like an object of pion in a romance novel. I am having problems with this one issue.. as I can't see marrying him for this reason. I come from a well educated family of means. I just don't want to have any regrets. I think he weighed about 135 towards the end of his life (he was still young when he died), and he was in perfect condition. I think it is hard to compare a fighter from a different era, because when Bruce was competing, people really did not fight nearly at the level they do now, and Bruce was one of the top guys in the world. I think if he got a chance to compete in MMA in his weight cl, I am sure he would have done very well.

It works fine with cable from wall to Comcast Box and comcast box to television, via an RF modulator. I tried connecting the DVD player to the cable's auxiliary input box, but I cannot get the unit to recognize the input device... any input device for that matter, whether a VCR, a Nintendo, or any DVD player I connect. We have been married for 7 years. Have 2 kids, a boy (7) and a girl (2). He is in the army. I asked him what was on it and he immediately started getting defensive and trying to fight me to get it. I asked him, what do you have to hide?? are you cheating on me?? is there pics of another woman on here?? He denied all of that and finally admitted that there was a video on there of child . He said he got it along with a bunch of other (regular) from a buddy of his out there. I asked him why didn't you just throw it away when u saw what was on it? he said he was afraid someone would find it. so i asked him why didn't you demolish it into a billion tiny pieces? he says he was afraid the Hajis would find it and put it back together! i was like WTF?? so anyway, i decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and we both got rid of that flash drive right then and there and threw it in a dumpster...Well that was nearly 10 months ago...YESTERDAY, i found something on my computer that he had tried downlaoding off of Limewire...it said 13 yr old pregnant **** gets ****** and whatnot...i was MORTIFIED. He got defensive and confrontational and told me that HE pays for everything in this house including our internet AND our computer....I told him I will file for divorce and take away our kids from him. I want FULL custody and I also want child support. I dont want him around our kids for obvious reasons!!!!!!! What do i do???? He has been crying and pleading all day yesterday that he loves me and our kids and doesnt want to loose us....I love him with all my heart but now I also have to think about the kids becuz of I caught him doing online! I mos defenatly dont want him around my kids. We currently live away from home due to the army (we are in NY right now but we are FROM TX) Im a stay home mom with no income of my own, he supports us. So its not like I can just pack up and leave right now. Which I wish I could do....I have to wait until August when he has 2 weeks vacation and he is going to drive us home then (he deploys in october again anyway). What should I do??? You control the sound from the surround sound system. Or you can connect the cable or disc network directly to the tv and another connection to the surround sound. There are many people with SAT's in the 2000's who get rejected. Look into Penn State University Park, that is a very good and well respected school. Your gpa is around the average for it so you have a chance there.

Do not cut the yarn after each bind off you will still have stitches remaining on your needles to be knit in the basket weave pattern. Looks alot more like a Lightsworn deck, but it's really good. I'd give it a 8/10. What's funny is that I dont see a Light and Darkness Dragon here, which is a key principle for any Twilight deck. Reasons to Consider Euthanasia?

Why does my husband treat me badly?

I am 36 weeks pregnant. I have been extremely tired. Last night I had contractions 8-10 minutes apart for 4 hours. They slowed down later. Today I am having a lot of pain on my cervix and pelvic area. I have pain in my lower back. I haven't really been able to feel my contractions even when I am having them. Can any body please help me , my mum is 86 and has been diagnosed with vascular dementia , i am her carer and have a young family of my own, my dad lives with my mum and is 84 and in poor health himself so i care for him as well . are like messing with my friend and I. :/ Ok so today at PE we had to play hacky sack and have groups of four and play together (I know it's silly :P). I was trying to do this one trick and the ball ALMOST hit her head but did not and I told her I didn't mean to and she still got mad. She asked for the ball and then she got it and kicked it like 15 feet away and was like "someone get that" or "I'm not getting that" and my friend and I kept going for the ball because she did it like 5 times! Then when she told me to go get it again I got the ball and threw it and told her "I aint getting that" trying to mimic her. Then she yelled to the teacher like "Mr. Gerhard they are throwing the ball and telling us to go get it!" and she did it to us like 5 times. I then was saying my side of the story that she kept doing it to us and she wasn't even trying to do what we were suppose to and it's her fault. He then gave us our own separate and my friend and I separated from the two girls. We went off somewhere else to play and then the girls kept following us and throwing the ball our way (maybe trying to hit us?) and kept saying "oh can you get that". I decided to just give the ball to them and didn't exactly throw it good and went a little bit away from them and they yelled to the teacher "Mr. Gerhard they are throwing at us!!" and my friend was just like WTH but I told her "Who do you think he's going to believe, them or us?" and I said that because he knows us and the two girls weren't very good students and would show up late a lot and not dress good for PE but they decided to turn my words around. They said "is that supposed to be racist?" and "did you say that because we are black" and I was so annoyed with them. Then we had to go line up to go in the locker rooms to dress and when we were sitting down they kept pointing to us and called us "Dora and Boots" which I thought was pretty stupid but yeah I think they are acting dumb and over reacting. I think they are bored and don't have anything else to do so they have to bother us :P And judging by how they act I am guessing that they will continue bothering us and following us and talking about us since we have the same PE cl. Okay, my dad is visiting and his car is broken so he's driving mine. I have a suspended liscence so I can't drive it. My jeep is in great condition. He drives my car like he is in a Nascar race. We were going to pick up my wife from work and he got all road raged cause someone was tailgating him. I told him not to drive my car all crazy. He got pissed off and swerved off the road, slammed on the brakes, got out of the car and slammed the door super hard, then threw my keys into the intersection. I told him that he can't drive my car anymore. He's all pissed about it and still thinks he didn't do anything wrong. Did I do the right thing by not letting him drive my car? What else should I do?

Has any one been to dominica?

Yes, I visited there on a cruise and would consider going back for a longer stay. It's very lush and the rain forest is beautiful. The people are very friendly. The only drawback, and I'm not sure about this, is that I think most of the beaches have black sand. But the snorkeling is fabulous.

feeding: My newborn (6 days) keeps falling asleep during feedings.?

With a newborn when feeding, I found it was best to feed on demand (even if it's every hour)...it gets frustrating, but it's best for baby and best to keep your milk supply up. If you can shoot for 15 minutes...that's great, but let's face it...it doesn't always happen. You can play with his hands, feet, and face to keep him awake...strip him down to his diaper and try talking or singing an upbeat song to keep him awake during feedings...make funny sounds..all of that goes a long way. It's tough the first month of feeding, but it does get better (going on 10 months here!)...congrats to you for sticking with it!! Best of luck!

Yup, I've been a fan of SK for over 5 years now. My favorite character of hers is Vane Katalakis. I loved "Night Play". Zarek would be my next favorite if I had to choose. In the case of J.R. Ward I am still hooked on her her Black Dagger Brotherhood series. However, I don't like how she has been turning it more into urban fantasy than romance with all the subplots and what not she's been adding to the mix. I like the first 4 books in her series better. I want to add Vegetable scraps to my compost pile (more than i can produce myself and my neighbors don't hardly have any). Parents loving one kid over another?

I am 13 and my brother is 11 (we also have a brother who is 27 but he is a different story) My brother is always a kiss up. For example every night he says "Good night mom and dad! I love you!" Then my mom goes up and tucks him in a gives him a kiss. He isn't one of those boys who is really scrawny and doesn't have any friends he actually plays every sport imaginable and he has lots of friends. I do not say I love you to my parents and they rarely ever hug or kiss me and i tend to yell at them a lot. Mostly I yell at my dad because we both have very similar personalities like we both want to get our way. Once I got really mad and i yelled at my parents that they didn't love me. I am repulsed by meat and anything that looks/tastes like it. Getting an evaluation for an IEP?

First of all if she is having behavioral problems at school you might need to have her put in a more structured cl. Not a lot of teacher know what to do with children who have behavior problems. She could be bored, not making friends, maybe socially maturing at a slower pace than other students and will grow out of it. ADHD is extremely over diagnosed. I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 6 by children's hospital and put on all sorts of different medications till about the age of 11. I figured out later that I never had ADD or ADHD and all the Dr. visits and special IEP program just put me through a lot emotional trauma being different from my peers. Her situation sounds identical to mine at that age. I had to also repeat kindergarten. Eventually I grew out of this by the starting of middle school. If I could give you any advice it would be to get her a tutor. If her life is too different from her peers at a young age for too long she will probably resent it later. I do think it is a good Idea for her to get tested for dyslexia incase she does struggle with this problem which is easy to correct and very common. Currently I work as an elementary special education teacher in WA.

Oh mate, this is terrible. There is nothing much you can do. Try and show love and support to your parents with out sacrificing your survival. You say your out in September? Get out no matter what. No al-anon? Go to an open AA meeting and talk to some people there. Your Dad is a sick person :( That his behavior makes him culpable and your Mum is also part of a game doesn't make them bad people, it is sad and not your fault. In the end the best thing you can do is succeed in your own life, and if you can make it until September and at least be as kind and as generous with your time as you can you are a saint. You do need some kind of outside help though, and that will be an effort. I think if al-anon is not available an open AA meeting is. Talk to doctors, friends, and while I am not even religious I would say pray. Pray that your Mom and Dad can get healthy; as healthy as they can be in this life and support whatever can get that done. Good luck mate.

Working In Tim Horton? HELP?

Hope you are managing OK with this new job. Judging by the answers it is very obvious to me now why Tim Horton's staff usually get the order wrong, etc. Seems like they don't spend any time training people....which is glaringly obvious and it is unfair to you, the employee, to have to be thrown into the job with very little training. I think Tim Horton's should focus more on training which translates into customer satisfaction. Clearly they don't bother since they have a huge following...I go there several times a week too even though I am usually completely frustrated by my order being wrong on a regular basis...doesn't matter which location I go to either. Perhaps that is why customers get cranky with the staff. it is annoying having to repeat your order several times yet still get the wrong thing.

Why would my two year old daughter try to choke me?

My two year old daughter is usually the most loving toddler you could imagine. She actually is so well behaved 95% of the time, that she makes me wonder why there's a phrase called "terrible twos". She's been doing something that alarms me, however. She will ask to sit in my lap facing me and I'll be talking to her and giving kisses, etc and all of a sudden (she's done this a few times) she will place her hand around my throat and slightly squeeze. She'll say "I choke you, mamma". It really freaks me out and I of course tell her not to do that; it isn't nice. She kindof laughs and then acts normal again. I few times she hasn't stopped reaching for my neck and I have to set her down. She's at home with me 24/7. She's never been in anyone else's care, and I know there's no way she could have seen something like that on tv. We don't watch adult shows with our kids in the room ( our son is 1yo). Brakes work when car is off but when running the pedal goes right to the floor?

THE BRAKE LINES DO NOT NEED BLED!!!! Please don't tell me that!! Here's the story, I bought an AMC Eagle. I replaced the front calipers and pads. I discovered that the line going to the rear brakes was cut off and pinched shut. I flared the lines and reconnected the rear lines to find out that the drum brakes in the rear were leaking very badly. I rebuilt the wheel cylinders and that stopped the leaking. After then bleeding all 4 brakes correctly, I shut the car off and pumped the brakes to make sure the wheel cylinder pushed the shoes, and it did with the first pump along with the new calipers. I then put everything back together and drove down the road to discover that I no longer have any brakes. The pedal goes right to the floor just like to would if my lines were open (there are NO leaks in the brake lines)! I then tried killing the engine and coasting down the hill, and my brakes worked as good as they should in that situation. I asked my local garage about the problem and they told me the actual wheel cylinder is bad and rebuilding it won't fix it. That doesn't make sense to me because they don't leak anymore and they work fine when the car is off. I have no idea how a power booster works but I'm uming its off of vacuum. I followed vacuum lines in all different directions and everything looks fine. Any ideas? Sorry for typing so much.

Alto Saxophone: Fuzzy Note?

Whenever I play a high A or Bb (not altissimo) the sound is always fuzzy, and I can't seem to find a problem with it. Also, when I cover the octave hole, the sound quality is fine and not fuzzy at all. It is only these 2 notes. I don't want to send it into a shop if I don't have to. Anyone know what's going on?

I am very ordinary looking and over the years I have had male acquaintances. I have found that some of them in conversation look at my chest then my face and the conversation goes with his eyes going up and down. Do men realise they are doing this? Do dogs get aggressive as they age?

I have a chow/german shepherd mix who is about 3 years old. Lately she has been snapping at us trying to bite us. We try to pet her when shes laying down, looking right at us and wagging her tail and she barks and tries to bite us. Also she has started barking aggressively at visitors. I heard later on in life they start to lose their sense of smell and become violent but I figured she was still pretty young. What can we do? Is this normal?

Crontractions&BM?31weeks!?

i'm 30weeks&6days pregnant with my first baby, had contractions lasting 10-15seconds back to back more then one a minute for 45minutes then stopped, relaxed &10minutes later had ALOT of loose BM. could this be because ive been eating gs? past 3days ive been going alot and past two days had loose stools. to say the least, also havin the urge to pee more than once a hour, is any or all this related? ive had contractions before when i was 24weeks gave meds stopped them dilated to 1 cervix we're good and thick at the time, none others till now. got my tooth pulled last week cause it was puttin me at risk for preterm labor but havent had any complications till now so just curious about recent contractions bein tied to anythin or is it from the fruit?...my back has been hurting ever since lower&kinda sore but not to bad on my area, left side hurts more when i move but has for over a week maybe thats a pulled muscle, seein my doc monday so just curious:) thanks much!

As a Grandmother I am now able to spend more time with the grandchildren. I do not have to work either. I can spoil them rotten and then send them home to mommy and daddy. As we grow older we also have more patience. I love my children as much as I always have. I don't feel that I love my grandchildren any more. My kids are special to me and so are the grandkids. They area part of me.

My brother met a woman from Australia who came to England to visit her ancestral home and he fell in love with her right away! Almost so that they both lived together for a while until she had to return to Australia. A month had ped since she went home and he received amazing news that she was pregnant. He was so ecstatic that he was going to be a dad that decided to apply for a visa to enter Australia. They both wanted to get married as well as bring up the baby together so he could only apply for a 9 month marriage visa then he could reapply for a permanent visa once settled in his new life over there. He has only been there a week and his fiance has told him that she now wants nothing to do with him and doesn't love him anymore! The most soul destroying thing was that she told him a day after he landed in Brisbane. i have recently found out and I'm absolutely steaming with anger but also feel guilt as I was all for him going there. I have been crying myself to sleep and really feel like giving her a piece of my mind as he is the nicest guy anyone could ever meet and would do anything for anyone. Why does it always happen to the nicest people? Anyway, the reason I;m telling you all this is because I don't know what to do, what advice to give etc....Can anyone help me with this at all?

My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma 5 months ago and has been receiving chemotherapy.?

Naturally, her energy level is low as well and she seems to not have much interest in all of her favorite things. She is also vomiting throughout the day despite having medication from her vet to suppress nausea. She has little interest in drinking anything and is having fluids "forced" in her to try to keep her from dehydrating. Any ideas on how else to help her? The vet told me to continue trying to keep her hydrated and is hoping the appetite will come around. I appreciate any thoughts.

I don’t want to be that 90% of Americans who drop out. Right before I know it, I will be out on my own trying to make something of myself. And boy, do I have big plans. I have decided to become a culinary arts chef. Going to college, opening a café/bakery (plan in the back), writing a cookbook, and creating my own television show are some of the thing I want to do. its called a dd bust but i dont know what its on because this design was on the half cent, cent, dime, quarter, half dollar, and dollar... someone with more experience with it could prolly tell ya what it is with dimensions or just by the pics.... i THINK it is a dollar because it has many of the aspects from different dies that they had. for instance the numbers "1800" looks like it is from two different dies, and "18" and "00" are seperate. they call it the "low 8" there are like 20 different combinations of those dies cuz there was a bunch of different ones. they are worth like $500.
