I am a Hindu and i keep fasting some time, can I use Snickers in fast?

I heard that they use some animal fat or bone marrow (gelatin) to keep set the chocolates,specially from beef like they use in jelly ,Is that correct? and if that is correct than Snickers not a vegetarian diet and Hindu's can not use it in fasting. What you say?
