Why didn't God impregnate Eve? We could have gone straight to Jesus and skipped the Old Testament?

Think of all the violence, death, racism, bigotry and obscenity that could have been avoided. Of course Christianity had plenty of that after Jesus was born too, but not as overt perhaps.
