Looking for good liberal arts college/university?

I do believe the people make the college and I'm looking for a good male/female ratio, filled with a wide ortment of people. I hate to stereotype but I'd like to be surrounded with people of the hipster/indie scene? Don't get mad, I'm just curious! stay on the east coast please!
