Electric Guitar-How To Move An Item On It...?

I need some help, you know where you play the string, before it starts getting to the frets, theres a row of metal dots for everystring, my low E keeps touching it, so how do i move it down? also on the white part cos mine is blk and white, one screw won't screw down but theres a mive gap, wot shud i do??
