What are some good fund raisers and activities for my high school environmental club?

this is our first year having an environmental club and i'm running for presidency next year. what are some good environmentally beneficial events and ideas i can propose to help get our club going? this year i ran an environmentally friendly tshirt design contest and sold them as a fundraiser. what else could i do that would be more fun and encourage more participation than just a recyling drive??
